IBD may reduce your sex drive due to fatigue or just not feeling well. It may also have an indirect impact since people with IBD have higher rates of anxiety and depression, conditions that are both associated with reduced sex drive. Having IBD, especially for those that have had surgery, also may negatively affect body image, which in turn can play a role in reducing sex drive.
