How do I handle gas/incontinence in public?

This can be a common challenge for people with IBD. One helpful way to handle this is to be prepared. Know where bathrooms are located. Try to carry wet wipes and a change of underwear on you. For gas, think through what situations (food, drinks, activity level) may make you more or less likely to experience gas and plan accordingly. Your Care Team can also help you think through these symptoms and make plans.
