How do I tell my teacher that I have IBD?

If you are in grade K-12 and have a 504 or an IEP, that documentation should be available to your teacher. You may check to confirm your teacher has received your 504 or IEP. If you are in college, most Dis/Ability Service Offices will provide you with a letter to provide your professors stating your needed accommodations. Beyond that, your medical information is yours to disclose when and how you wish.
